Film: le Pain

Film: le Pain

40 min experimental film

Once upon a time in New Orleans Louisiana, Jordon and Greg - suffering from self deceit - find themselves stuck in an old church along with a loaf of bread and some chairs. A little bit empty and trying to fill up, they tease, torment and prey on one another.

I am interested in disrupting popular notions of virtuosity in dance and cinematic movement, specifically in regards to the spectacle of the male body in action and a fluid dominant gaze enabled by the apparatus of a seamless edit.

le Pain is the result of Jordon, Gregory and myself being stuck in a room together for many days with a loaf of bread.
